MISSION STATEMENTS OF

NEVADA FOUNDATION FOR FULL STATEHOOD [ click here ] and the

NEVADA COMMITTEE FOR FULL STATEHOOD

February 18, 2002

The Nevada Committee for Full Statehood considers the protection of our national constitution, with its adherence to common law and its extension to our state and to our citizens, a charge and duty that we accept. Whereas, no article of the U.S. Constitution allows federal ownership or control of any land within an admitted state, except as specified under Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 17. Therefore, it is the duty of our committee to use all legal and constitutional means to ensure that our elected representatives to comply with State and Federal Constitutions for the good of all Nevadans now living, for future generations, and to become a beacon to adjoining states to also place the federal government in the restrictive box known as the U.S. Constitution.

We, "the Committee", recognize and depend on the principle that private property is the wellspring of human freedom and wealth, and are therefore committed to the election of constitutionally responsible representatives to the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, and the passage of legislation that follows the original intent of the State and US Constitutions to protect life, liberty, property and state sovereignty.
