Our dear friend and great patriot David Horton passed away Sunday night, October 5, 2003 after having fought cancer for many months.  He was a pioneer of the Sage Brush Rebellion and has worked tirelessly since the 1970's lobbying the Nevada Legislature to return Nevada's lands to control of the Sovereign State of Nevada.  We honor Dave Horton for his many years of dedication to true Constitutional principles as counsel to the Committee to Restore the Constitution.  He served as the counsel for the Nevada Committee for Full Statehood since its inception in February of 2001. Dave was a member of Eagle Forum for many years. I first met him when we were working on Pro-life issues together. Dave opened his office in Carson to our Coalition for weekly meetings during the Legislature 2003.  He was a valiant fighter and a good man!  Janine Hansen
